Learning does not have to be formal - or expensive for that matter. Thank you to the Internet, and some generous benefactors, you can continue your education for free in the comfort of your own home. The best schools like MIT and Harvard University are affiliated with learning resources free online, allowing people from all over the world to connect and audit courses at their own pace. In some cases, these services even provide self-educators with proof of having completed courses. Read on after the break to check our overview of four free online learning resources
MIT OpenCourseWare :. Architecture
In 03, MIT OpenCourseWare officially launched - an online platform through which absolutely everyone can access the same course content as paying students - free. The architecture department has more than 100 undergraduate and graduate courses, complete with notes of downloadable courses, assignments, reading lists, and in many cases, examples of work from past students. Although you will not receive feedback from teachers or certification for completion of the course, having free access to the oldest architecture department in the United States teachings is nevertheless an incredible resource. Two courses of MIT OpenCourseWare architecture described.
- Architectural Construction and Computation is for students interested in how computers can help design and construction. The course starts with a pre-prepared computer model, which is used to test and study the construction process. Even if the site does not have a designated section of architecture, designers can still make use of the science of the prestigious school and technical offers. Equipment available for the majority of course includes audio and video conference recordings, readings, assignments and practice exams.

Two of their architecture course, described below, are currently open for fall registration.
